Run for a Cure Africa (RFCA) is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit corporation founded in 2009 with a mission to turn the 90% mortality rate of breast cancer in Africa in a 90% survival rate. During the last 6 years, RFCA opened sister locations in Cameroon, Ghana and Nigeria to provide breast cancer education, free breast screenings and paying for the costs of breast cancer treatment for women in those regions. RFCA also hosts and annual race in Cameroon, Ghana and Nigeria as well as other fundraising events.
